Virgina Tassin Buller

LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held for Virgina Tassin Buller, 78, of Lafayette, at St. Jules Catholic Church in Lafayette at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 26. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
A native of Ville Platte and resident of Lafayette for over 50 years, Mrs. Buller died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette. She was a 1956 graduate of SLI (University of Louisiana Lafayette) and taught accounting at Spencer Business College and worked as a private accountant for Dreyfus Industries. She enjoyed traveling with the Antique Car Club, playing bouree with friends and crocheting.
Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Earl A Buller; one daughter, Mary Kathryn and her husband, Brady Kidder; one son, John Scott Buller; two grandsons, Cameron Kidder and his wife, Megan, and Garrett Kidder; and one great-grandson, Ethan Kidder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Tassin Jr. and the former Lula Guillory; one sister, Mary Kathryn Tassin; and two grandsons, Nicholas Buller and Zachary Buller.
Pall bearers were her two grandsons and members of the St. Jules Knights of Columbus.
