Wilda Soileau

GRAND PRAIRIE - Funeral services were held for Wilda Soileau, 84, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Grand Prairie at 1 p.m., Monday, December 21. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
A loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, Ms. Pelican died Friday, December 18, 2015, at Flannery Oaks Nursing Home in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Jeanmard and her husband, Frank, of Baton Rouge; and three sisters, Mercedes Fontenot, Nettie Perrodin and Nell Jean Arceneau, all of Grand Prairie. Also left behind to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews and two grandsons, Paul Jeanmard of Baton Rouge and Mark Jeanmard and his wife, Anne, of Slidell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sylvan Soileau; her parents, Eugene and Alda Soileau; and two brothers, Ivan Soileau and Rayburn Soileau.
Father Clement officiated.
