Funeral services will be held for Wilson “Sno” Thomas Sr., 68, of Ville Platte, at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 7 p.m., Friday, August 29. Burial will be held in the church cemetery at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 30.
Mr. Thomas died Sunday, August 24, 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Lee Vidrine Thomas of Ville Platte; his father, Wilfred Thomas of Ville Platte; two children, Evanna Thompson of Missouri City, Texas, and Wilson Thomas Jr. of Laporte, Texas; three sisters, Nella (Jerry) Ardoin, Christine (Simon) Simon and Carolina (David) Zachary, all of Ville Platte; one brother, Nelson (Shirley) Thomas of Beaumont, Texas; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, August 29, at Ninth Baptist Church.
Rev. Darwan Lazard will officiate.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte will be in charge of arrangements.
