Odelia Chaffers

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Odelia Chaffers, 86, who passed away February 25, 2008 at American Legion Hospital. Services will be conducted by Rev. Emmanuel Etim. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

She is survived by four daughters, Madeline C. Stillwell, Elizabeth A. Chaffers, Christine C. Dugar and Antoinette C. Pete (Leonard); two sons, Alvin R. Chaffers (Willie B.) and Daniel J. Chaffers; six grandchildren, Michelle L. Joseph (Tylerton), Latisha Whitworth (Brian), Deanna N. Stillwell, Quandra P. Chaffers, Leonard D. and Bethani S. Pete; three great grandchildren, Ja’Tyrah and Tyshon Joseph and Brielle Whitworth; three brothers, Joseph R., Willie and Henry (Margaret) Clement; sister-in-law, Eva Clement and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Chaffers; one daughter, Delia Chaffers; twin sons, Raymond and Rene Chaffers; her parents, Rodney and Georgiana Clement and three brothers, Allen, Whitney and Lionel Clement.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at St. Theresa Catholic Church beginning at 8 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.
