Police looking into property damage
CHURCH POINT – This week, Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a criminal damage to property case.
Church Point Police are investigating a criminal damage to property complaint, which occurred at the Texaco Fuel Station located at 620 West Canal Street.
On January 15, 2008, an 18-wheeler was driving through the gas station and struck the canopy covering the gas pumps. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to report the incident, thus he drove away. The damage to this canopy is values at several thousand dollars.
The vehicle is described as a white tractor-trailer (18 wheeler) with a sleeper cab on the vehicle. The cab has multiple stripping, but the company information cannot be read. Attached is a copy of the suspect vehicle, which was captured from surveillance video at the business.
