Randall Gautreaux

MERMENTAU – Services for Randall Dale Gautreaux will be Thursday March 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist with Father Don Pousson officiating. He died March 11, 2008 at his Mermentau residence. He was the son of Hubert and Myrtis Adams Gautreaux, born in Jennings.

A rosary will at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Gautreaux was an Insulator with Local 212. He loved the horse races, music, and loved to play music.

Survivors include his mother, Myrtis Adams Gautreaux of Mermentau; one step-son, Aaron Simon of Crowley; one step-daughter, Jessica Simon of Lyons Point; two brothers; Tony Gautreaux of Mermentau and Troy Gautreaux of Morse and wife Stephanie; two godchildren; T. J. Gautreaux of Morse and Jake Gautreaux of Morse; four step-grandchildren, Cade, Allysa, Alanna and Jannah; and his godmother, Peggy Benoit and husband Charles of Mermentau.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Gautreaux; and grandparents; Elzie and Annie Gautreaux and Theodule and Ida Adams.

Visitation took place on Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. until time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews and Son Funeral Home of Jennings.
