Waiting word

Editor, The Eunice News:

I would like to thank everyone who sent emails and letters in support of the Tony Hawks Foundation Skate Park Grant.

Thanks to the Mayor and Council members for the resolution of support.

More than 40 were received. Also, thanks to the Eunice News for the articles and News Notes entries. All were sent in with the grant application on March 1.

The Foundation said the awards would be announced in April. So, now it is in the hands of the grant reviewers and the man upstairs.

Say your prayers that we will be selected. I’ll let you know the outcome either way.
