CARL LEE LEDOUX

Carl Lee LeDoux, 59, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at his residence in Basile.

Hel is survived by his mother, Alberta Vidrine LeDoux; his son, Brian Jude LeDoux & his wife, Shana; his former wife, Susan Donaldson LeDoux.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence LeDoux.

He was an Army veteran and served his community in law enforcement. Carl’s most enjoyed past time was playing his guitar and writing music. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of the arrangements.

RUBY R. LEDOUX

Funeral services were at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 08, 2008 for Ruby R. LeDoux, 83, who passed away on Friday, March 07, 2008 at Oak Lane Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Eunice. Burial followed in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with the Rev. Truman Stagg officiating.

Ruby was a resident of Eunice and for many years managed the local Sears and Roebuck store. She also enjoyed flowers, working in the yard, fishing as well as cooking, sewing and spending quality time with her grandkids. All who knew her will sorely miss her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carlis F. Young and husband, John A. of Eunice, Judy A. Young of Scott; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee LeDoux; her parents, Willie D. and Yola McCoy Risher; brother, W.D. Risher; sister, Margaret Moore.

FREIDA LYONS DURAND

Freida (Lyons) Durand, age 99, of Lafayette died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional in Lafayette. Funeral services were held at St. Anthony Catholic Church at noon Saturday, March 8, 2008 Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. St. of Eunice was in charge of arrangements.
