Register to vote for election

CROWLEY – The last day for persons to register to vote in the July 19, 2008 Propositions Only Election will be Wednesday, June 18, 2008

Regular office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday on the first floor of the Parish Courthouse Building, Room 115.

Proper identification required for registering to vote is one of the following documents: current Louisiana driver’s license, current Louisiana identification card, birth certificate and/or baptismal certificate.

Also, a meeting of the Acadia Parish Board of Election Supervisors will be held in the Registrar of Voters Office at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 20 to draw commissioners for the election. The meeting will be open to the public.
