Relay plans pageant

The First Annual Miss and Master Louisiana Relay for Life Children’s Pageant, with all proceeds going to American Cancer Society, will be May 24, at the Ville Platte High School Gymnasium. Pageants will begin at 8:30 a.m. for 0-to-6 months, 9 a.m. for 7-to-12 months, 9:30 a.m. for 13-to-23 months, 10 a.m. for 2 year olds, 10:30 a.m. for three year olds, 11 a.m. for four year olds, 11:30 for five year olds, 11:45 a.m. for 6-to-7 year olds, 12 noon for 8-to-9 year olds, 12:15 p.m. for 10-to-11 year olds and 12:30 for 12-to-13 year olds.

Entry Fees are $25 per contestant in the children’s pageant and includes photogenic. Siblings will receive a $5 discount from their entry fee. Please make staff aware of this discount. Photographs must be submitted with entry form. There will be awards. Attire is Sunday best for children, 0-to-9, and girls, 10-13, may wear formals.
