Richard D. Broussard "Big Bruce"

KAPLAN - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday June 1, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home honoring the life of Richard D. Broussard, 59, who died May 29, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

He is survived by two sons, Timmy Broussard and his wife Chandra, and Anthony Broussard, all of Kaplan; one daughter, Michelle Broussard and her husband Damian of Kaplan; three brothers, Thomas Broussard of Abbeville, Davidd Broussard of Kaplan, and Jeff Broussard of Arkansas and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death b his wife, Barbara Primeaux Broussard, one daughter, Nicole B. Matherne; and one sister, Linda B. Mouton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 300 Eleazar Avenue, Kaplan, Saturday, May 31 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, June 1 from 8 a.m. until services.
