Saucier sworn in as alderman

Helen Saucier was sworn into office as the District Four alderman in Mamou Tuesday, May 13. Saucier has been appointed to fill the remaining term of her late husband J.L. Saucier, who served the town as District Four alderman for 21 years. In the photo shown here, Saucier is sworn in by 13th Judicial District Judge Tom Fuselier. After being sworn in, cake and other sweets were served.
