Scenes from the Boggy Bayou Trail Ride

The Boggy Bayou Trail Riders went to Prairie Manor Nursing Home on their first stop to conduct a parade for the residents. Proceeds from the Boggy Bayou Festival go to the nursing home. The Fifth Annual Boggy Bayou Trail Ride raised over $7,500 for the nursing home. The ride, which was March 29, had 293 registered riders. This was the most successful ride ever, according to organizers, and it was great because of the hard work of coordinator Cindy Welch, the festival board and all the volunteers and people attending. A special thank you was sent to all who donated items and those who purchased items at the auction.
