School Board panels meet March 17

The St. Landry Parish School Board's Finance and Executive Committees will meeting Monday, March 17.

At the Finance panel's 3 p.. meeting, members will get a General Fund financial report from Finance Director Randy Manuel.

The committee will also consider approval of the Education Excellence Funds Grant application, in the amount of $361,000 and a request to advertise for all school materials and supplies for the 2008-09 session.

The Executive Committee meeting begins at 4 p.m.

On the agenda are discussions regarding, resource officers, counselors and school librarians.

State Rep. Elbert Guillory will also address the panel.
