Susan Hebert honored at miscellaneous shower

A miscellaneous shower was given to honor Susan Marie Hebert, of Iota and bride-elect of Kristopher John Bellon, of Egan.

The shower was held recently at the Conference Center in Jennings from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m.

The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Beth Hebert of Iota.

The prospective groom is the son of John and Karla Bellon of Egan.

On her special day the bride-to-be was lovely in a brown and white flower print dress.

Serving as hostesses were Pam Pelsia, Katlyn Maybrier, Sheila Sattler, Kim Dommert, Katie LaHaye, Rachael Murray, Panzy Hebert, Amanda Darbonne, Sherry Ashford and Belinda Hebert.

The shower accommodated approximately 40 guest registering from Basile, Egan, Iota, Lake Charles, New Iberia, Abbeville and Jennings. Honored as special guest was the groom’s grandmother, Joann Dommert.

The couple will be married on Friday, June 27, at 7 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings.
