Team Moosa holds on to Men's League lead

After two weeks of rainouts, Team Moosa held onto its one-point lead last week with a 8-5 win over Team D’Aubin in Week Six of Eunice Mens’ Tennis League play.
Under EMTL rules, rainout games are not made up.
Team Moosa picked up a forfeit to win on Court One.
On Court Two, Keith Gil and Adam Bass of Team Moosa won a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Team D’Aubin’s Brad Martel and Jason Hanna.
Scoring a win for Team D’Aubin, Nick Frugé and Tom Dietz scored a 6-3, 6-4 win over Team Moosa’s Steve May and Vernon Fuselier on Court Three.
On Court Four, Team D’Aubin’s Pierre Martel and Willie Glasscock defeated Randall Vigee and Scott Eckholt of Team Moosa, 6-3, 6-4.
Team captain Steve Moosa and Phil Young won a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 split set victory over team captain Darren D’Aubin and Ray Biessenberger on Court Five.
On Court Six, Mike Conner and Jim Butler of Team Moosa won a 6-0, 6-0 stunner against Chip Hebert and melvin Bellow of Team D’Aubin.
In the other matchup of the week, Team Pitre scored a 8-5 win over Team Manuel.
On Court One, Jarvis Sam and Chris Gaspard of Team Pitre won a 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 split set against Team Manuel’s Sam Andrus and John Fontenot.
Team Pitre’s Jude Miller and Wayne Wimberly scored a 6-0, 6-3 win against Scott Manuel and Jason Hannah of Team Manuel on Court Two.
On Court Three, Brad Courville and Steve Dischler scored a win for Team Manuel with a 7-6, 2-6, 10-2 split set win over Team Pitre’s Jacque Pucheu and Monty Person.
Team captain Kenneth Pitre and Tim Longman scored a 6-1, 6-4 victory overTeam Manuel’s Chip Thibodeaux and Red Aucoin on Court Four.
On Court Five, Randy Frugé and Kenneth Gaspard of Team Manuel defeated Team Pitre’s Brett Bergeron and Greg Gaspard 6-1, 6-3.
Jed Gaspard and John Pucheu also scored a win for Team Pitre with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Team Manuel’s John Carpenter and Dustin Ashford.
