Three wanted by Ville Platte Police Dept.

The Ville Platte Police Department is requesting the publics assistance in locating three wanted individuals.
A VPPD press release stated that Alshamir McKoy, 18, and Antwan McKoy, 30, “are wanted for possession of a stolen vehicle.”
According to the release, “A vehicle stolen on or around May 24, 2017 from Eunice was located on May 25, 2017 in Ville Platte.”
A warrant was issued for the two suspects after they “fled from authorities” when officers went to the location of the vehicle.
VPPD Detectives are also in search of Crystal Edmunson of Port Barre.
A VPPD release stated that the 43-year-old is wanted on charges of aggravated battery and domestic abuse battery.
The charges according to the release stem from a January 2017 incident where Edmundson “was involved in a disturbance in the Ville Platte area.”
