Touchette couple celebrates 50 years
Willie and Mary Touchette celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 7, at a local restaurant hosted by their children and their spouses.
They are Bill and Cristi Touchette, Rick and Cheryl Wilson and Todd and Consuelo Touchette.
They are the proud grandparents of four granddaughters, Misty and Melissa Wilson and Courtney and Megan Touchette, and one grandson, Justin Touchette.
The couple was married in Crowley, on March 7, 1958.
Mary is the formal Mary Harrington, the second of nine children, all of whom are still living. Her parents are the late Ivy and Violet Harrington of Crowley.
Willie is the seventh of eight children and the only living sibling. His parents are the late Alcide and Edmay Touchette of Crowley.
They have resided in Fort Worth for 50 years.
Willie worked for the Ben Hogan Company for 31 years and retired in 1992.
Mary also worked at Ben Hogan Company and was also a homemaker.
She is enjoying her retirement with her lifelong partner.
To celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, the couple plans a trip to Branson, Missouri, and Nashville, Tennessee, in April.
