VPPD Arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported eight recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Daniel Gallow, 17, 501 Court St., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 29, 2016 for aggravated assault, criminal mischief, disturbing the peace, and resisting by flight. Gallow remains incarcerated on a $2,150.00 bond.
•Lunel Robinson, 68, 1001 N. Reed St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 9, 2016 for disturbing the peace by intoxication and remaining after forbidden. Robinson was remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
•Ericka Roberts, 25, 606 N. Reed St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 9, 2016 for trespassing. Roberts remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
•Robert Dupre, 22, 1519 Pecan St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 9, 2016 for theft of goods. Dupre remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
•Tonia Sylvester, 34, 323 Debaillon Plantation Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 10, 2016 for theft of goods. Sylvester was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•Barbara Griffin, 55, 506 N. Fontenot, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 10, 2016 for theft of goods. Griffin was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•Kelly Fontenot, 38, 184 Benny St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 11, 2016 for theft of goods. Fontenot was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
•Wanda Griffith, 50, 1026 W. Peach St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 12, 2016 for entry on and remaining after forbidden. Griffith was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
