Mr. Delgado, Miss Richard plan June nuptials

The engagement of Miss Charanika Richard to Mr. David Delgado, the son of Esteban and Rebecca Delgado of Angleton, Texas, has been announced by her parents, Michael Richard Sr. and Allen and Chateuse James, all of Mamou.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, June 14, 2014, during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at Noah’s of Katy at Mason Creek in Katy, Texas.
Miss Richard is the granddaughter of Essie R. Holland of Mamou, the late Elton Holland Jr., George Richard Sr. of Mamou and the late Versa Lee Richard.
A 2008 graduate of Mamou High School, she enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she is currently ranked as Airman First Class at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Delgado is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Delgado of Angleton, Texas. He graduated from Angleton High School and then enlisted in the United States Army, where he is currently ranked as Private First Class. He recently returned after being stationed in Afghanistan for one year and is currently stationed at Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, Texas.
The couple will make their home in San Antonio, Texas.
