Mr. Nezat, Miss Deshotel plan August nuptials

The engagement of Miss Kelli Marie Deshotel to Mr. Keragon Auguste Nezat, the son of Kevin and Billie Nezat of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Robert and Gwen Deshotel of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Friday, August 29, 2014, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.
Miss Deshotel, whose mother is the former Gewn Cart of Iota, is the granddaughter of Aubrey and Maeise Briley Deshotel and the late Burley “Shine” and Becky Clement Cart.
A 2007 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, she received an associate of nursing degree from LSUA in 2010 and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches in 2012. She is currently employed with Opelousas General Health System.
Mr. Nezat’s mother is the former Billie Soileau of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of Betty Doucet Soileau, the late Irving Soileau and the late Milburn and Lillie Nezat.
A 2007 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, he received a degree in non-destructive testing from T.H. Harris in Opelousas in 2009. He is currently employed with Turner Specialty Services LLC.
