EPSO Arrest Reports

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 24 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Brian K. Roy, 46, 477 Wesley Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 24, 2016 for theft of a motor vehicle. Roy was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Tyler D. Veronie, 24, 283 Ventage Rd., Church Point, was arrested on January 3, 2017 for armed robbery or attempted with use of a firearm (felony). Veronie was released from jail on a $80,000.00 bond.
• Tonya D. Bellard, 34, 1029 Bryce St. Lot #16, Ville Platte, was arrested on January 3, 2017 for failure to appear. Bellard was released from jail.
• Marshayla B. Jack, 19, 911 W. Beauregard St. Apt. 69, Ville Platte, was arrested on January 4, 2017 for prostitution (20 counts), pandering, and indecent behavior with a juvenile. Jack was released from jail on a $65,000.00 bond.
• Bradley P. Seriale, 52, 601 N. Reed St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 4, 2017 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile (three counts) and soliciting for prostitutes (five counts). Seriale was released from jail on a $55,000.00 bond.
• Kennon D. Halford, 31, 1221 Pine Hill Rd., was arrested on January 4, 2017 for issuing worthless checks. Halford remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
• David S. Glazner, 34, 620 Railroad Ave., Mamou, was arrested on January 5, 2017 for domestic abuse battery (two counts). Glazner was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Jay D. Case, 26, 1610 Pelican Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 8, 2017 for remaining after being forbidden and public intoxication.
• Jacob R. Compton, 23, 1627 Walnut St., Pine Prairie, was arrested on January 9, 2017 for possession of a schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, switched license plate, no insurance and failure to change registration. Compton was released from jail on a $20,000.00 bond.
• Lisa Garnett, 46, 901 Hickory St., Mamou, was arrested on January 12, 2017 for aggravated battery. Garnett was released from jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
• Aaron Sylvester, 19, 213 Norwood St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 14, 2017 for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Sylvester was released from jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
• Austin B. Chapman, 18, 336 Shuff Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 14, 2017 for simple criminal damage to property and theft. Chapman was released from jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
• Jamie Dupre, 49, 2423 Morgan Rd., Pine Prairie, was arrested on January 14, 2017 for simple assault. Dupre was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Craig Ardoin, 28, 1052 Ellen St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 15, 2017 for driving while intoxicated (third offense), careless operation and modified exhaust. Ardoin was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Vintonio V. Ardoin, 24, 1024 CJ Ave., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 15, 2017 for possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I and possession with the intent to distribute a schedule IV. Ardoin was released from jail on a $20,000.00 bond.
• Demarko Williams, 23, 409 S.E. Railroad St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 15, 2017 for possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I. Williams was released from jail on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Malcolm J. Smith, 26, 301 E. Long St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 15, 2017 for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I and home invasion. Smith remains incarcerated on a $75,000.00 bond.
• Sam Tate, 508 3rd St., Mamou, was arrested on January 15, 2017 for domestic abuse battery. Tate was released from jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
• Rusty D. Tweedell, 36, 216 Mayor Carrier St., Oberlin, was arrested on January 16, 2017 for failure to appear. Tweedell was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Brandon W. Pingleton, 36, 1686 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Eunice, was arrested on January 16, 2017 for domestic abuse batter and domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. Pingleton remains incarcerated on a $7,500.00 bond.
• James R. Fontenot, 50, 754 Deballion Plant Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 17, 2017 for home improvement fraud. Fontenot was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Marlon M. Williams, 27, 220 S. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 18, 2017 for simple criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and battery on a correctional officer. Williams remains incarcerated on a $10,000.00 bond.
• Christopher C. Sylvester, 37, 3072 Belaire Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 19, 2017 for simple battery, aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Sylvester was released from jail on a $77,000.00 bond.
• John Parker, 37, 1617 Green St., Basile, was arrested on January 19, 2017 for failure to appear. Parker remains incarcerated.
