Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her beautiful white satin gown overlayed with lace featuring a heart-shaped bodice with lace straps leading to the lace backing.
The bride carried a cascading bouquet of white and pink roses and snapdragons accented with seeded eucalyptis. The bouquet was accented with a white satin ribbon and a mother of pearl rosary belonging to her great-grandmother, Dulcie Dupre.
Rebecca Ortego of Vidrine served her sister as maid of honor for the special occasion. She wore a sapphire blue-colored, knee-length gown featuring chic ruching extending from the bodice down past the waistline. The gown was accented with a rhinestone brooch. For her daughter’s special day, the bride’s mother selected a champagne-colored, knee-length gown accented with a lace overlay and beaded pearl detail. She wore matching earrings to complete her look.
The groom’s mother selected a taupe-colored, two-piece silk cascade dress with matching jacket. She wore gold jewelry to complete her look.
A special gift to the bride was written by her cousin, Sister Mary Magdalene (Kaysie) Soileau of Cincinatti, Ohio.
The bride’s cousin, Maggie Sevin, presented the couple with roses to be placed on the altar of the Blessed Mother.
A reception followed at the Northside Civic Center. The hall was decorated with large, elegant arrangements of pink and white roses and field flowers placed in mercury glass vases.
