Funeral services will be held for Ray Neil Stagg, 56, of Ville Platte, at the Chapel of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Whiteville at 2 p.m., today, November 19. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Mr. Stagg died Wednesday, November 18, 2015.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Phyllis Guillory Stagg of Whiteville; one son, Dusty Raymond Stagg and his wife, Amanda, of Whiteville; three daughters, Kellie Trahan and her husband, Shane, of Grand Prairie, Kasey Stagg Johnson and her husband, Bucky, of Point Blue and Kimberly Stagg Guidry and her husband, Koby, of Vidrine; one brother, Ricky Stagg and his wife, Phyllis, of Whiteville; three sisters, Sandy Stagg Morein and her husband, Todd, and Vicki Stagg, all of Whiteville, and Heidi Fontenot Kingston and her husband, Gregg, of Lafayette. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Kali Stagg, Jozie Stagg, Logan Guillory, Alayna Guillory, Kaylee Johnson, Jack Johnson, Elouise Johnson, Sawyer Guidry, Austin Bruchhaus, Reese White, Creed Linderman and Lakyn Fontenot; and step-children: Eric Bruchhaus and his wife, Jeannee, Lindsay Bruchhaus Linderman and Shelby Bruchhaus Fontenot and her husband, Kyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Dessie Stagg.
Father Mike Guidry will officiate.
