Sheriff's office reports 26 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 26 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Gregory Lavergne, 58, 1597 Ball Park Road, Mamou, was charged April 21, with violation of a protective order and issuing worthless checks. Lavergne was released from jail on a $10,250 bond.
•Samuel D. Lee, 34, 1112 Pine St., Turkey Creek, was charged April 22, with stopping/standing or parking prohibited, open container, resisting an officer, driving under suspension and no driver’s license. Lee remained in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Joseph Wendel Horne Jr., 39, 3418 Stagg St., Basile, was charged April 22, with felony carnal knowledge, aggravated incest, molestation of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile. Horne was being held in jail on a $100,000 bond at press time.
•Jamarz F. Fontenot, 32, 514 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged April 22, with possession of crack cocaine. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Jessica Dale Credeur, 27, 104 Barracks St., Apt. D, Duson, was charged April 22, with simple battery. Credeur was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Hunter William King, 22, 7500 Highway 167 North, Ville Platte, was charged April 22, with second degree battery. King was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Mickey Richard, 47, 808 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged April 22, with domestic abuse battery. Richard was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Shirley L. Anderson, 42, 808 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged April 22, with domestic abuse battery. Anderson was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Isaiah Dupre, 17, 1311 Walnut St., Pine Prairie, was charged April 22, with cruelty to juveniles. Dupre was released from jail on a $12,500 bond.
•David Lewis Boone III, 32, 6162 S. First St., Chataignier, was charged April 22, with aggravated battery. Boone was being held in jail on a $50,000 bond at press time.
•Keith Dugan Lavergne, 40, 113 Seventh St., Mamou, was charged April 23, with compulsory school attendance. Lavergne was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Michael Goodly, 56, 505 Oak St., Mamou, was charged April 24, with hit and run and careless operation. Goodly was released from jail on a $640 bond.
•Alex Cade Deshotel, 20, 813 East St., Apt. 111, Ville Platte, was charged April 24, with modified exhaust, open container, driving left of center and possession of alcoholic beverage under 21. Deshotel was released from jail on a $900 bond.
•Joshua Paul Galland, 19, 2506 Pine Point Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 24, with open container and possession of alcoholic beverage under 21. Galland was released from jail on a $750 bond.
•Nick James Rollins, 21, 9969 Veterans Memorial Highway, Ville Platte, was charged April 23, with second degree battery. Rollins was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Deandre Montez Bellard, 19, 109 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged April 24, with home invasion, simple burglary, theft and aggravated battery. Bellard was being held in jail on a $90,000 bond.
•Toby Kendez Shillow, 26, 305 Eighth St., Mamou, was charged April 25, with left of center, DWI, driving under suspension and open container. Shillow remained in jail on a $774.50 bond at press time.
•Corey Pitre, 23, 504 Second St., Mamou, was charged April 25, with unauthorized use of an access card (three counts). Pitre was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Jamie Ann Vidrine, 24, 1617 Poinciana Ave., Mamou, was charged April 27, with domestic abuse battery. Vidrine was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Devin Scott Frncois, 24, 2885 Johnson Highway, Eunice, was charged April 25, with DWI (first offense), reckless operation and stop sign violation. Francois was released from jail on a $1,272.50 bond.
•Randle Faye Williams, 45, 427 Wyble Rd., Ville Platte, was charged April 25, with simple battery. Williams was being held in jail on a $1,500 bond at press time.
•Marcella Yvonne Sampson, 53, 9142 Sunlit Park Dr., Humble, Texas, was charged April 27, with DWI (first offense), and speeding (79 mph in a 55 mph zone). Sampson was released from jail on a $1,428 bond.
•Lodamien T. Skinner, 114 W. Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged April 25, with possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. Skinner remained in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Kelly Keaston Thomas, 22, 9 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged April 25, with armed robbery and theft. Thomas was being held in jail on a $200,000 bond azt press time.
•Glenn Carl Stagg, 22, 950 Highway 1166, Ville Platte, was charged April 28, with operating an ATV on a public road and possession of stolen goods (the ATV). Stagg was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Joshua Charles Weathersby, 23, 1835 State Ave., Ville Platte, was charged April 28, with aggravated assault with a firearm. Weathersby was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
