MAMOU — Brent Zackery felt that it was God’s plan for him to serve his hometown.

According to an Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office press release, on “May 10, 2016, an Evangeline Parish Sheriff Deputy while conducting a Traffic Enforcement Detail observed a subject on a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed.”

Elaine Freeman appeared before 13th Judicial District Judge Gary Ortego on Thursday for her bond hearing.
Authorities were in search of the 32-year-old female after she abducted 12-year-old Jalon Bradley from Mamou High School around 3:15 p.m. on April 26, 2016.
