•Christopher K. Washington, 20, 412 E. Cotton St., Ville Platte, was charged October 30, with theft of a bike and trespassing.

Arrested were the following persons:
•Joshua M. Bordelon, 25, 318 First St., Oberlin, was charged October 29, with aggravated assault. Bordelon was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.

The state has issued an arrest warrant for John Deville Jr. in the fire of the Rendevous Dinner Club that he owned. If convicted, Deville faces $20,000 or more in fines and 10 to 15 years in prison, according to Deputy Chief Brant Thompson, with the state fire marshal’s office.

A woman visiting the main parish library on Main Street Monday, October 21, had a large mount of cash taken from her purse that she was carrying on her shoulder.

Mamou police made the final arrest in a burglary of the Exxon gas station that occurred in August after the last of two suspects arrived from New Mexico, where he had been since shortly after the burglary occurred.
