The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 bookings recently in the parish jail.
Arrested were the following:
•Crystal Lynn Savoie, 28, 2377 Goodman Drive, Lot 7, Ville Platte, was charged October 10, with theft over $4,000. Savoie was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 10 arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Joshua Fontenot, 60, 1314 Whiteville Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 2, with tampering with utilities (water meter). Fontenot was released on a $500 bond.

MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made five arrests recently.
The following persons were charged:
•Callen Arvie, 65, 513 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged October 1, with suspended driver’s license, no insurance and misrepresentation. Arvie bonded out of jail.

MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported they made eight arrests recently.
The following persons were charged:
•Brock Andre Reed, 20, 5734 Nick Mantone Road, Iowa, was charged September 23, with second degree battery. Reed was transferred to the parish jail.
