CROWLEY- Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Crowley for Barbara Gillis Hoffpauir, 86, widow of the late Harold Lloyd Hoffpauir, who passed away Friday morning in Metairie, LA. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.

CROWLEY – Patriotism reigned supreme in downtown Crowley Friday as the city held it’s annual Julyfete celebration. The crowd slowly increased in size as the sun began to go down and the heat subsided.

JENNINGS – John D. Buller, 85, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Southwest Louisiana War Veteran’s Home in Jennings.

Miguez Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

OPELOUSAS – Funeral services for John Ledet, 83, will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley.

Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Crowley.

Rev. Emmanual Etim will be officiating the funeral services.

CROWLEY – Funeral services for Mother Louise Gant Roy, 91, who died Friday at American Legion Hospital, will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Israelite Baptist Church. Viewing will be held from 8 a.m. until the time of services at Israelite Baptist Church.
