It will be a fight to the finish in the Ville Platte Farm Team League. The Dots and the Cubs both fought hard to win games in the league. In the end, they will meet up to decide who is the league’s best.

The Mamou Green Demons participated in their annual Spring game right before school let out. They traveled to Iowa to take on the Class 3A Yellow Jackets.

Don’t be misled by baseball championships into thinking academics takes a back seat at LSUE.

The institution has an established record of academic achievement.

Jeff Willis and his LSU at Eunice Bengals pulled off quite a feat by winning their second national baseball championship in three years and going undefeated at the World Series to boot.

We sometimes hear groaning, and perhaps have sometimes been among the groaners, about athletics outshining academics, but the fact is that sports championships build institutional recognition.
