Jessica Michelle Guillory and Bradley James Leger were joined in holy matriomony during an evening, civil ceremony in Bordelonville.
The ceremony was held at 6:30 p.m. on April 19 with Judge Mark Jeansonne presiding.
The bride is the daughter of Deryl and Terri Guillory of Bordelonville; and the groom is the son of Craig and Susan Marcantel, the late Michael Leger, and Christine Trumps, all of Eunice.

Julie Belle Smith and Jared Martin Politz were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony during a Nuptial Mass at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist on Saturday the twenty-fourth of May at half past one in the afternoon.
The Reverend Monsignor Keith DeRouen and Reverend Monsignor Harry Benefiel were the celebrants officiating the ceremony.

MILLINGTON, Tenn. - In the most exciting contest so far in the 2008 NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series, the LSUE Bengals proved they have nine lives once again in the playoffs.

The LSUE Bengals will play a second-round winner's bracket game at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the World Series in Millington, Tenn.
Bengals hitters smacked three home runs in the first inning Saturday night to pace the Eunice squad to a 7-4 win over Des Moines Area Community College.
