Three St. Landry Parish volunteer firefighters charged in fires

BATON ROUGE – State Fire Marshal Butch Browning announced today that investigators of the Fire Marshal’s Arson Investigation Division have charged three St. Landry Fire District #6 volunteer firefighters with intentionally setting fires in the Eunice area.

Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office makes narcotics arrests

CROWLEY – Agents with the Acadia Parish Narcotics Strike Force have made the following recent arrests:

Terrance T. Scott, 29, Crowley, arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana. Bond set at $20,000.

The Delta Gems and Gents of the Crowley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority sponsored as Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, March 20, at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park on West 7th Street. Children ranging in age from three up to eleven years old participated in the hunt.

Hebert, Kleinpeter exchange wedding vows

Brandie Nicole Hebert and Thomas Gregory Kleinpeter, Jr. exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, March 29, during a 12 p.m. ceremony held at the City Club of River Ranch. The marriage was conducted by Reverend John Rosenstern of Baton Rouge, a good friend of the bride’s family.
