Amanda Claire Leleux of Baton Rouge became the bride of Michael Elmer Dufrechou, Jr., of Baton Rouge during a 7 p.m. candlelight nuptial mass on Saturday, April, 5, at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Gary Schexnayder officiated the ceremony.

Leah Katherine Fruge, of Crowley and Robert Wallace Lowry, of Houston were married April 12, during a small ceremony at 10 o’clock in the morning at the home of the grandparents of the bride in Crowley.

The Pink Lady Auxiliary held their annual meeting and Spring Luncheon on April 3, at the Town Club with 44 members in attendance.

The meeting was called to order by the president, Yvonne Menard, who then led the Auxiliary Prayer and Pledge and the Pledge of Allegiance.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – 2007 was a milestone year for the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem and for the people of Palestine, especially in the Bethlehem district, the birthplace of Jesus.

The meeting of the Pink Lady board was held in the conference room of the American Legion Hospital on March 31.

President Yvonne Menard called the meeting to order and asked Nettie Romero to lead the group in the Auxiliary pledge and prayer as well as the Pledge of Allegiance.
