Henderson – Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Edith Marie LeBlanc Melancon, 85, who passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at her residence in Breaux Bridge.

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Charles Laverne “Chuck” Carter, 40, who passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, in Breaux Bridge.

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 2, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Anna St. Julien Guidry, 99, who passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at River Oaks Retirement Home in Lafayette.

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Monday, March 31, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Earl James Guidry Sr., 60, who passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008, at his residence in Breaux Bridge.

Carencro – Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church for Alice Ann Livings, 37, who passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008, at her residence in Breaux Bridge.

Breaux Bridge – A memorial service will be held at a later date for Eva Mae Veronie, 62, who passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at her residence.

St. Martinville – Funeral services were held Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Joseph Guidry, 47, who died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at 3:44 p.m.

The Rev. T. Pulling officiated at the services.

Interment followed in the Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Catahoula – Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Ned Decoux, 83, who passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008, at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.

Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Cecilia – Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Paola Hollier Angelle, 86, who passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville.
