The Sacred Heart Trojans grabbed a few victories in District 6-2 competition recently. They defeated Mamou and Ville Platte and then picked up a non-district win over the Farmers of Farmerville in the Westminster Tournament.

Eunice - A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Gilbert LeBlanc the former, Esther “Nin” Granger, 87, who passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

The city has adopted three Welcome to Eunice signs, but the City Council got a fiduciary lecture before voting to spend the total of $360 necessary to light them year-round.
