The Sacred Heart Trojans grabbed a few victories in District 6-2 competition recently. They defeated Mamou and Ville Platte and then picked up a non-district win over the Farmers of Farmerville in the Westminster Tournament.

Pine Prairie sweeps Opelousas Catholic

Pine Prairie High School completed a sweep of Opelousas Catholic Monday afternoon. They defeated OCHS in softball and baseball as the Easter Holidays approached.

Eunice - A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Gilbert LeBlanc the former, Esther “Nin” Granger, 87, who passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
