Eunice pitcher Andrea Kramer threw a 2-hit shutout and the Lady Cats offense rapped seven hits and drew 12 free passes in the easy 13-0 win over LaGrange.
The Lady Cats scored one run in the first, two runs in the second and added three more in the third inning.

CROWLEY – The legislature seems to be in agreement with Gov. Bobby Jindal’s plans to lower business taxes.
On Wednesday, the House and Senate unanimously approved bills that would lower a tax on Louisiana businesses, and speed up the planned elimination of two other taxes.

Acadia Parish Police Jury members voted to have two cattle guards on St. Joan Road removed by a parish road crew Wednesday night as the attorney for the Scanlon family argued that the Police Jury never “maintained” the cattle guards which are private property.
