As one drives around Acadiana, a common sight in people’s yards is a statue of the Virgin Mary. While visiting the Vatican Mosaic Exhibition at the Ursuline Convent in New Orleans, I was reminded of miracles of Mary.

St. Martinville – Dr. Daniel J. Wiltz was recently notified by Maj. Gen. Bennett C. Landreneau of his promotion to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the United States Army National Guard.
His promotion from major was effective Jan. 25.
