The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 6 recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
Emanuel Malbrew, 47, 280 Austin, was arrested on June 19, 2017 for unauthorized use of a moveable. Malbrew remains incarcerated on a bond set at $15,000.00

VILLE PLATTE - With great sorrow the family of Jason Paul Fontenot, 38, announces his passing on Saturday June 17, 2017 at his residence in Ville Platte. Memorial services for Mr. Fontenot are pending.
