EPSO Arrest Reports

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office reported 10 recent booking into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Dylan Reed, 20, 167 Buckly Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 5, 2015 for resisting an officer and disturbing the peace. Reed was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Sidney Coutee, 37, 6418 Pine Point Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 6, 2015 for possession of schedule I CDS, resisting an officer, and battery of a police officer. Coutee’s bond has been set at $60,000.00.
• Gregory M. Coutee, 34, 6418 Pine Point Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 6, 2015 for possession of a schedule I CDS. Coutee’s bond has been set at $50,000.00.
• Christopher T. Gallow, 28, 121 E. Lasalle St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 6, 2015 for monetary instrument abuse. Gallow’s bond has been set at $25,000.00.
• Mark J. Toussaint, 19, 407 E. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 8, 2015 for simple escape. Toussaint’s bond has been set at $25,000.00.
• Barbara J. Lavine, 39, 715 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 8, 2015 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of alcoholic beverage in vehicle. Lavine was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Oscar J. Miller, 38, 1407 Harding St., Basile, was arrested on December 9, 2015 for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, theft under $750, and unauthorized use of an access card. Miller was released from jail on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Stacey E. Howerton Jr., 40, 221 Sarah Dee Parkway, Lafayette, was arrested on December 9, 2015 for issuing worthless checks (15 counts), theft of checks, and forgery. Howerton was released from jail on a $30,325.00 bond.
• Samuel Tyler Gautreaux, 22, 216 Seventh St., Mamou, was arrested on December 9, 2015 for domestic abuse battery and cruelty to animals. Gautreaux was released from jail on a $15,000.00 bond.
• James Miller, 51, 514 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 9, 2015 for distribution of a schedule I narcotic (marijuana). Miller’s bond has been set at $10,000.00.
