EPSO has made nine arrests in Turkey Creek murder case

Nine individuals have been arrested by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office in connection to a shooting that left Clifton Hallmark, of Shreveport, dead in Turkey Creek on July 1, 2016.
The shooting took place at 1023 Cemetery Rd. during a pre Fourth of July celebration.
According to an EPSO press release, the sheriff’s office “has teamed up with Louisiana State Police and the U.S. Marshals in apprehending several individuals.”
Arrested for accessory after the fact to second degree murder were the following persons: Elizabeth Auxilien, 30; David Williams, 34; Christina Williams, 37; Heather Tate, 26; Anissa Hallmark, 48; Jeremy W. Jorden, 36; Brian E. Granger, 34; and Michael Auxilien, 32.
At this time all that have been arrested for this crime remain incarcerated.
The sheriff’s office has also given the names of two individuals that are still wanted in connection with this crime, and they are: Richard Smith, 46; and Leland Hamm, 42.
According to the release, the EPSO “investigations division is still actively investigating the shooting,” and they “are still receiving valuable information and conducting investigative interviews.”
