Mamou police report eight recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported eight recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Anthony Guillory, 38, 1930 Zackery St, Mamou, was charged May 26, with aggravated assault. Guillory was transferred to the parish jail.
•Charles Smith, 24, 1200 East St., Mamou, was charged May 26, with simple battery. Smith bonded out of jail the same day.
•Leslie Malveaux, 28, 1501 Chris St., Mamou, was charged May 26, with simple battery. Malveaux was released from jail two days later for time served.
•William Holmes, 34, 305 Fontenot St., Mamou, was charged May 29, with disturbing the peace. Holmes remained in jail at press time.
•Dustin Fontenot, 26, 616 Ash St., Mamou, was charged May 31, with disturbing the peace by intoxication and public intoxication. Fontenot bonded out of jail the same day.
•David Randy Saucier, 42, 1052 Jake Lane, Mamou, was charged May 31, with simple battery. Saucier bonded out of jail the same day.
•Ashley Fontenot, 25, 521 East St., Mamou, was charged May 31, with remaining after being forbidden. Fontenot was released from jail.
•Kaylee Saucier, 26, 220 Balfa Bros., Mamou, was charged June 1, with criminal trespass. Saucier was being held in jail at press time.
