Mamou police report five recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported five recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Edward Charlie, 707 Henshaw St., New Iberia, was charged October 6, with remaining after being forbidden. Charlie was released with a citation.
•Percy Ardoin, 56, 1317 Cherry St., Mamou, was charged October 7, with aggravated assault. Ardoin was transferred to the parish jail.
•Andrea Fuselier, 120 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged October 13, with theft of utilities and simple burglary. Fuselier was released from jail.
•Gabriel Fontenot, 17, 1501 Poinciana Ave., Mamou, was charged October 15, with indecent behavior with a juvenile. Fontenot was transferred to the parish jail.
•Billy Babineaux, 59, 1110 Main St., Apt. 153, Mamou, was charged October 17, with theft. Babineaux was released from jail.
