Mamou police report five recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported five recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Damian Duplechain, 32, 207 Maple St., Mamou, was charged September 17, with no insurance and simple criminal damage to property. Duplechain bonded out of jail the same day.
•Kayle Saucier, 27, 813 East St., #114, Mamou, was charged September 18, with theft of goods. Saucier bonded out of jail September 20.
•Brock Newman, 20, 2069 Mayo Road, Ville Platte, was charged September 19, with simple battery. Newman bonded out of jail the same day.
•Taylor O’Neal, 17, 917 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged September 21, with simple criminal damage to property, simple battery and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. O’Neal bonded out of jail the same day.
•Lawrence Stagg, 48, 900 East St., Mamou, was charged September 21, with simple criminal damage to property. Stagg remained in jail at press time.
