Mamou police report seven recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported seven recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Crystal Rider, 1057 Sitwell Lane, Ville Platte, was charged January 1, with simple drunk.
•Lance Duplichan, 28, 207 Maple St., Mamou, was charged January 7, with theft. Duplechan bonded out of jail the same day.
•Brian Manuel, 46, 304 Second St., Mamou, was charged January 7, with theft. Manuel was released from jail the next day.
•Tryee C. Robinson, 20, 1305 N. East St., Eunice, was charged January 9, with driver must be licensed.
•Ladell Allins, 17, 1012 Hickory St., Mamou, was charged January 10, with simple burglary and theft.
•Blandon Richard, 17, 305 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged January 10, with simple burglary and theft.
•Claude A. Burkhalter, 1006 Hackberry Ave., Mamou, was charged January 11, with aggravated battery, obstruction of public passage and open container. Burkhalter was transferred to the parish jail.
