Mamou police report six recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported six recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Gregory Lanigne, 59, 1597 Ball Park Road, Mamou, was charged April 21, with violation of protective order. Lanigne was transferred to the parish jail.
•Shirley Anderson, 42, 808 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged April 22, with domestic abuse battery. Anderson was transferred to the parish jail.
•Mickey Richard, 808 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged April 22, with domestic abuse battery. Richard was transferred to the parish jail.
•Ronald Herbert, 47, 316 South St., Mamou, was charged April 23, with remaining after being forbidden. Herbert remained in jail at press time.
•Deondre Bellard, 19, 901 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged April 23, with home invasion, simple battery (two counts), theft (two counts) and aggravated battery. Bellard was transferred to the parish jail.
•Jennifer Fontenot, 18, 521 East St., Apt. 1, Mamou, was charged April 24, with simple battery. Fontenot bonded out of jail the same day.
