Sheriff's office reports 10 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Johnathan Robert Plauch, 30, 104 Dula St., Youngsville, was charged September 15, with speeding, careless operation and suspended driver’s license. Plauch remained in jail on a $751 bond at press time.
•Christopher J. Morris, 35, 4965 E. Ridge Creek Drive, Houston, Texas, was charged September 16, with driving under suspension, speeding, possession with intent to distribute Estacy and illegal carrying of a weapon. Morris was being held in jail on a $60,000 bond at press time.
•Aaron Freeman Jr., 23, 409 N.E. Railroad Ave., Ville Platte, was charged September 16, with simple burglary. Freeman was being held in jail on a $12,500 bond at press time.
•Brandon Kyle Fontenot, 23, 597 Attales Road, Ville Platte, was charged September 16, with simple burglary and simple escape. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Nickole Daigle Thibodeaux, 39, 3773 Valentine Road, Basile, was charged September 16, with disturbing the peace, resisting by violence and battery on a police officer. Thibodeaux was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Lionel Ardoin Jr., 27, 724 M.L.K. St., Ville Platte, was charged September 18. with obscenity, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and possession of crack cocaine.
Ardoin was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Brandon Lee Ortegy, 18, 1640 Cajun Drive, Apt. 76, Mamou, was charged September 18, with theft over $500. Ortego was released from jail on a $1,351 bond.
•James Chadwick Johnson, 39, 307 Ruth Lane, Ville Platte, was charged September 19, with improper lane usage, no driver’s license in possession and DWI (first offense). Johnson was released from jail on a $1,351 bond.
•Sanda Faye Barber, 58, 4593 Highway 167 North, Opelousas, was charged September 21, with theft over $500. Barber was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Christe Lynn Boone, 35, 1076 Cord Lane, Ville Platte, was charged September 21, with child endangerment, DWI (first offense) and careless operation. Boone was being held in jail on a $2,500 bond at press time.
