Sheriff's office reports 14 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 14 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Andrew Thomas, 19, 416 W. Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged October 15, with aggravated rape and theft. Thomas was being held in jail on a $100,000 bond at press time.
•Jamarka Antoine, 28, 1641 Frilot St., Opelousas, was charged October 15, with unauthorized use of a movable. Antoine was being held in jail on a$10,000 bond at press time.
•Christopher John Bergeron, 30, 1591 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 15, with forgery. Bergeron was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Ricky Lee Codey Sr., 46, 1426 Arthur Cooley Road, DeRidder, was charged October 16, with theft over $27.000 and simple criminal damage to property. Codey was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Everette N. Miller, 68, 597 Arthur Cooley Road, DeRidder, was charged October 16, with theft over $27,000 and simple criminal damage to property. Miller was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Dustin Randell Fontenot, 23, 1166 Jeanus Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 18, with illegal possession of stolen things, criminal trespass amd tjeft pver $500. Fontenot was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Skylar Lazard, 722 Hollier St., Apt. 2, Opelousas, was charged October 19, with introduction of contraband to a penal facility (cell phone). Lazard remained in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Delana L. Guidry, 22, 1523 Woodstone Road, Eunice, was charged October 16, with possession of a legend drug withut prescription. Guidry was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Stephanie Ann Dugas, 39, 1053 Timkey Lane, Ville Platte, was charged October 19, with simple criminal damage to property. Dugas was released from jail on a $3.000 bond.
•Daniel Lee Carter, 28, 1777 Highway 15, St. Landry, was charged October 20, with theft and trespassing. Carter remained in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Dustin Robert Moreau, 31, 607 Saint Seton Lane, Youngsville, was charged October 20, with domestic abuse battery and second degree battery. Moreau was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Shanie Danielle Rider, 22, 226 Jean Pierre Road, Ville Platte, was charged Octoberf 20, with disturbing the peace, resisting an officer and battery on an officer (two counts). Rider remained in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Framces Louise Hartzfelds, 64, 2001 Rainbow Drive, Ville Platte, was charged October 20, with aggravated assault, resisting an officer and threatening a public official. Hartzfelds was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Terril Teddy Arvie, 34, 2445 First St., Ville Platte, was charged October 21, with domestic abuse. Arvie was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
