Sheriff''s office reports nine recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported nine recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Brock C. Newman, 30, 2259 Newman Lake, Ville Platte, was charged December 16, with DWI (second offense), failure to report an accident, careless operation and driving under suspension. Newman was being held in jail on a $2,326.50 bond at press time.
•Reokenski Thomas, 30, 1670 Avenue B, Beaumont, Texas, was charged December 15, with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder. Thomas was being held in jail on a $750,000 bond at press time.
•Hilton Wilson, 34, 129 E. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was charged December 15, with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder. Wilson was being held in jail on a $750,000 bond at press time.
•Jared L. Louis, 18, 707 E. Wilson St., Ville Pltte, was charged December 17, with arson. Wilson was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Davonte Valdez Frank, 18, 415 E. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged December 17, with arson. Frank was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Jeremy Bryce Willis, 23, 560 Oberlin Road, Mamou, was charged December 17, with no seat belt and driving under suspended license. Willis was released from jail on a $1,491 bond.
•Nicolas Edwards, 20, 316 W. Desoto St., Ville Platte, was charged December 17, with simple burglary and simple criminal damage to property. Edwards was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Susan Ann Longino, 37, 712 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged December 17, with felony theft. Longino was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
•Hannah Michelle Brignac, 21, 7739 Veterans Memorial Highway, Mamou, was charged December 19, with DWI (third offense) and aggravated flight. Brignac was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
