Ville Platte City Court issues bench warrants for June
The following individuals failed to appear in the Ville Platte City Court. Bench warrants have been issued by Judge Jonathan C. Vidrine, pro tem, for these individuals for their failure to appear in court on traffic tickets and other misdemeanor charges for the month of June.
•Linton Fontenot, 2673 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.
•Dean Mitchell, 415 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was charged with foot traffic/reflective gear.
•Wayne Roy, 1609 Amy St., Ville Platte, was charged with assault, disturbing the peace while intoxicated and resisting arrest.
•Coretta Washington, 1021 Henry Lane, Ville Platte, was charged with no child restraint (three counts).
•Larry Arvie, 613 S. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was charged with resisting an officer and criminal trespassing.
•James Edwards, 410 David St., Ville Platte, was charged with resisting arrest by flight (two counts), possession of marijuana and foot traffic/reflective gear.
•Rickey Fontenot, 114 E. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged with remaining after being forbidden, simple drunkenness and battery on a police officer.
•Scott Robert, 1618 P. Terrist Highway, Broussard, was charged with theft of goods.
•Natasha Ardoin, 506 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged with no insurance.
•Rininski Edwards, 225 High School Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace and driving under suspension.
•Rickey Fontenot, 114 E. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace while intoxicated and disturbing the peace.
•Andre Henderson, 720 S.W. Railroad, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace.
•Steve Johnson, 624 Berdie St., Opelousas, was charged with theft of goods.
•Annie Jones, 516 High School Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with foot traffic/reflective gear.
•Gene Poullard, 1331 Fruge St., Ville Platte, was charged with littering.
•Scott Robert, 1618 P Terrist Highway, Broussard, was charged with disturbing the peace and no proof of insurance.
•Sadie Tezeno, 1425 Martin Luther King Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.
•Skyala Thomas, 302 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.
•Akeem Williams, 1067 Shorty Lane, Mamou, was charged with possession of marijuana.
•Damian Williams, 714 Rev. E.D. Alfred St., Ville Platte, was charged with simple drunkenness and foot traffic/reflective gear.
•Allen Guidry, 505 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged with misrepresentation during booking and trespassing.
•Darlene Jackson, 7 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was charged with criminal mischief.
•Annie Jones, 519 High School Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with remaining after being forbidden.
•Justin Spears, 1124 Highway 752, Church Point, was charged with speeding and no driver’s license.
•Nikita Thomas, 806 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged with foot traffic/reflective gear.
•Michael Thomas, 4317 Highway 10, Washington, was charged with driving/operating vehicle while license is suspended.
•Robeeta Thomas, 409 W. Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.
•Wilda Thomas, 720 Calcasieu St., Ville Platte, was charged with foot traffic/reflective gear.
•James Weaver, 302 W. Hickory St., Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace, domestic abuse battery and aggravated assault.
•Herbert Mask, 501 N. Thompson St., Ville Platte, was charged with DWI (second offense).
•Joshua O’Conner, 1616 Elm St., Pine Prairie, was charged with resisting arrest and simple battery.
•Francis Thomas, 415 N. Fontenot St., Ville Platte, was charged with theft by shoplifting.
