Ville Platte Police Department reports eight recent arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported eight arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Brittany St. Cyr, 23, 476 Twin Bridges Road, was charged December 20, with simple battery (two counts). St. Cyr was released on a $2,000 bond.
•Germaine Lafleur, 32, 6646 Pine Point Road, Ville Platte, was charged January 17, with remaining after being forbidden, resisting arrest (two counts), inciting a riot and simple assault. Lafleur was released on a $3,000 bond.
•Darlene Jackson, 40, 7 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was charged January 26, with theft of goods. Jackson was released on a $500 bond.
•Shybra Jack, 23, 311 W. Desota St., Ville Platte, was charged January 12, with criminal damage to property. Jack was released on a $700 bond.
•Waven Frank, 20, 2434 Seventh St., Ville Platte, was charged January 12, with criminal damage to property. Frank was released on a $700 bond.
•Samuel Fontenot, 26, Parkview, # 147, Ville Platte, was charged January 29, with criminal mischief. At press time, Fontenot remained incarcerated.
•John Gallow, no age given, 319 High School Drive, Ville Platte, was charged with disturbing the peace by intoxication, resisting by flight and resisting an officer. No bond information was available.
•Nola Merren, 58, 1101 W. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged January 31, with disturbing the peace. Merren was released on a $200 bond.
